The Origins of H-Town Oxygen

Disillusioned by working for one of the "major" gas suppliers with little to no regard for customer service, Bill Carper founded H-Town Oxygen on July 25, 1997. Originally located in a 1,000 square foot facility, H-town Oxygen has now grown into an operation which includes its own cylinder filling plant and warehouse.  The company continues to grow with a dedication to fulfilling the requirements of its customers.

Now in its third decade of service, H-Town Oxygen moved to its current location at 2126 Firnat in 2004. With a growing list of national and international clients, H-Town Oxygen has established itself as one of the leading independent distributors of industrial, welding and specialty gases, welding and cutting equipment, and welding supplies in the Houston area.

​ Most deliveries are made the same day as ordered. In addition, H-Town Oxygen uses an industry-specific software to provide each client with accurate, up-to-date account information.

BILL CARPER- President

Has worked in the welding supply  industry since 1991. Experience has allowed him to work with unique applications and develop solutions to many different situations.

ERIK COX- General Manager

5 years of experience handling customer needs. Coordinates special material certificates along with insuring customer needs are met.
